Get coverage for a semi-private or private hospital room

Make hospital stays more comfortable with coverage for a semi-private or private hospital room – even if you don't have a more comprehensive Flexcare® Core plan. The Hospital Stand-Alone Plan includes a daily cash benefit if you don't get your covered room.

Plan highlights:

  • Cover a semi-private hospital room
  • $150 maximum per day
  • $25 cash benefit per day
Semi-private room coverage
  • 100% during the first 30 days to a maximum of $150 per day
  • 50% for the next 100 days to a maximum of $75 per day
Cash benefit
  • $25 per person per day if semi-private room is not available
  • Starts on the 4th day of hospitalization
  • Continues for a maximum of 30 days

Flexcare® Plans Important Notice

For Vision Care and Hearing Aid benefits, one year is defined as a Benefit Year (the 12 consecutive months following the incurred date of the claim). For all other benefits, one year is defined as an Anniversary Year (the 12 consecutive months following the Effective Date of the Policy and every 12-month period thereafter).

  • Cover a semi-private or private hospital room
  • $200 maximum per day
  • $50 cash benefit per day
Semi-private or private room coverage
  • 100% coverage to a maximum of $200 per day
Cash benefit
  • $50 per person per day if semi-private or private room is not available
  • Starts on the 4th day of hospitalization
  • Continues for a maximum of 60 days
